MY WORK

Drawing, always my center, from childhood insect drawings & house floor plans, to book illustration and a career in architectural rendering, the drawn line always gives me balance. I literally research with pencil, pen & paper, allowing me to truly observe an object, be it a pine cone or a basalt ridge that I hike up. I find a direct connection between architecture as we know it and the geological structure of the land. During covid my rock collection became my muse. I drew a portrait of each rock I had collected over the years, amassing close to 200 rock, ridgeline, cairn & boulder drawings in my studio.
